There are only 3 reasons mandated by law, where a trespass can be issued to an individual. 1. Engaging in prohibited activity while on property, 2. Accessing a prohibited area while on property, 3. Refusing to leave the property when asked to by the agent or a representative of the agent to leave. The officer in this case is in the wrong because a verbal/written trespass under the third reason mentioned is a valid trespass under the law
