I suffer from mental health issues and it’s so hard for people like us to stay in a toxic work environment. I pivoted about a year ago into a different type of Job and my mental health has definitely is better. 🥰

I think a huge and rotten part of getting older and meeting more people as we go through life is realising how many people will only be interested in what you can do for them. Be it emotionally, physically, financially - so many ways. But when your brain isn’t allowing you to pick them up off the floor as you can’t actually pick yourself up, you aren’t really any use to them. People care about things that only really affect them. And no this isn’t true of all people, that’s why my world is very small these days as I only want the true genuine people around. Sending love and light xx

Growing up I always saw being a celebrity mua as pinnacle of success but the nature of the entertainment industry dosent align with my personal values and it’s confusing cause I want to be as ambitious as I can but now I think I need to find different goals. I feel you! I just retired from doing makeup. I was in the industry for almost 15 years. It’s soul sucking, stressful, you miss out on so many life events, it takes you always from your friends and family, and in the end… no one really cares about you and the personal sacrifices you have to make and that’s the sad reality of it. I’m so happy your path lead you to where you are now! You are wonderful and I have followed you for a while and it’s been sooooo cool to see you grow 💋
