So your code is saying for any count greater than 0 or equal to 0 multiply it by per item and equate it to 0. Explanation below:

Mippat :

Int count is not initialized with any value so it is null/0 hence when you run the code it skips the if statement and goes straight down to the else statement at the bottom

Not want to overengineer it but variable names could be more explicit, keeping it that way this code will be hard to change since you are using an abstraction while the input screams one strategy for calculating the price.

You should use a debugger, gcc,lldb, or windbgx. I had a lot of these moments and a debugging helps a lot!
