It’s never been about AI. Companies were doing badly long before, and they used the AI narrative to lay off people while maintaining a mask of visionaries, instead of admitting to the public that their own business was failing.

The only "secure" jobs for the near future are blue color. Every other job that requires "knowledge" and that uses computers will be replaced by Ai systems. Even doctors, lawyers and CEO positions will be destroyed. Ai will be able to connect dots much more efficiently than any human can. It will be like one person posseses the entire world knowledge to perform any task they wish to. Blue collar jobs will only start to be affected once robotics reach the same level of dexterity as a human and the building/manufacturing allows for easy fixing/replacing items by a robot. That too will come but not so soon.

This is real, guys. The AI we knew some months back has LARGELY improved. The only reason we still have our jobs is that our companies are unaware and haven't started using it. Don't think the free option ChatGPT is all there is to AI.
