Not only that but Baklava has many variations depending on which group it makes. For instance, Armenian Pahlava (that’s how we call it) is made differently than Turkish. Instead of using pistachios we use walnuts and our layers are thicker. Even looks differently. But the concept is the same and it’s can’t belong to one nation. Baklava is regional desert and has wide range of to make it.

baklava is literally a Turkish word lol Assyrians might have invented something similar to baklava but pretty sure Turks invented Baklava as it is today because no other ethnicity would name it after such a rare Turkic word
