The measurements remain the same. Starbucks does the same thing when I ask for light ice, but i get a cold foam on top so it fills up the empty space.

They do it because the “measurements” doesn’t change. I worked in restaurants where they would do this with the mixed drinks when people asked for light ice as a server bringing a half full glass for a $12 drink is ANNOYING. Now I gotta answer all the questions and deal with the attitude 🫠 like they not asking for more liquor!!! It took literally nothing for you to just add a little more juice or soda to that drink just to top it off !!! Mind you we get free drinks all day and FREE REFILLS for the customers . I never will understand this! The presentation should be more important than the couple of cents extra of JUICE !!! I swear They’ll do it with no problem for regulars or their customers & tip tho !!!
