it's really only like a few weeks /month at the most. she had her just before her 19th birthday and she was pregnant in August when they did it after their wedding. it's explains it so good in the books. it's Goode you watched the movies first , you read the books and fill him in lmfao. (pun was totally intended) cause now the books will fill in the blanks for you :). you guys will love it even more

I can’t remember if it’s in the films or just the books, but at some point someone points out that Leah would align with anyone other than Sam. When they’re in wolf form they all read each others minds with no control which was hell for Leah with her ex as her alpha - until Jacob became an alpha, she had no other choice
