No, the airport needs your on their tags so if it gets lost they can easily know where to send it.

Sweetheart, we’ve had those around for at least 5 to 10 years! Before QR codes were even mainstream. Problem.: they get stuck in the converter belts at the airport the workers don’t particularly like them.
