INGREDIENTS * 1 lb ziti or penne pasta * 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage * 1 small onion diced * 2 cloves garlic minced * 1/2 cup diced carrots * 1/2 cup diced zucchini * 1 32 oz jar of marinara sauce * 2 tsp Italian seasoning * Salt and pepper to taste * 1 cup ricotta cheese * 1 –2 cups shredded mozzarella * 1/2 cup grated parmesan * 3 string cheeses pulled * Small pieces of black olives for eyes INSTRUCTIONS 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. Boil 1 lb of ziti or penne pasta until just al dente, then drain and set aside in large mixing bowl 3. In a large skillet, brown 1 lb of ground beef or Italian sausage over medium heat. Drain any excess fat. 4. Add all your veggies and garlic to the meat and sauté until soft (5-10 mins), then add meat and veggie mixture to your large mixing bowl. 5. Fold in all cheeses and stir gently to combine. 6. Pour the pasta mixture into a greased 9×13” baking dish. Using your pulled string cheese, lay them across the dish to make a mummy effect. Add tiny pieces of black olive for eyes if making ghosts. 7. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. 8. Let cool for a few minutes, then serve. #halloweenfood
