The need for a donor egg is still an interesting thing to look into, I think, since it's a pretty taxing procedure for someone to go through just to extract the eggs

The donor egg still has it's mitochondrial DNA meaning technically the embryos was made from 3 people except if they also removed the donor egg mitochondrial DNA and introduced that of the skin cell.
