Work the restaurant side of a theater when we swapped to card only, I told my boss I wasn't charging people for extra sauce anymore. I wasn't going get yelled at bc too many people wait till after they've been checked out to ask for sauces.

I remember when I worked at Cinemark in the early 2000’s. Some genius at corporate decided we had to start saying “would you like butter flavored topping on your popcorn?” Since it wasn’t actually real butter but butter flavored vegetable oil. That new policy didn’t last long because every customer was like “so it’s not real butter, what is it?” As a former theater employee/manager I really enjoy and relate to your content btw.
