@metrouk: A rampaging knifeman shot dead by police after stabbing two Jewish people to death on Yom Kippur has been named. Police named the knifeman as 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shamie, a British citizen of Syrian descent who rampaged through Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in north Manchester this morning. Al-Shami was shot by officers seven minutes after slamming his car into a man at the entrance and stabbing several others, killing two.
