so, its just capitalism with a built in purge system? thrall is the minimum wage worker, acolytes would be a blue/white collar worker, knights and witches would be like managers and directors, and ascendents would be csuite (ceo, cio, etc)? in all instances, you are given just enough to make you complicit with what you have, while the company takes the rest of what you "produced" as profit for itself. the only thing thats difference is that the lower rungs are given Carte Blanche to kill someone above them if their needs aren't being met, if they are strong enough to do so. makes sense to me. basically forces each "company" to become democratically ran by elimination. oh and the hivelords would be shareholders, i guess, lol
