@empress12sam: Healing Your Inner Child: A Journey Within. 🫂🫂🫂 I scrolled and this song, “you’ll be alright, kid” by Alex Warren, was chosen as my inner child song. It stopped me in my tracks. It felt like a message I didn't even know I was waiting to hear. So I tried to create a picture for that feeling. This is for the version of me that used to hide in the back of the classroom, that worried too much, that felt things a little too deeply and thought it was a weakness. In this video I created, that’s me now, reaching back through time. I’m reaching for that kid in the faded bedroom, surrounded by the memories that once felt so big. I’m telling them what I needed to hear then: that the quiet kid learns to listen to their own powerful voice. That the sensitivity isn’t a crack waiting to break, but a deep root system that lets you feel the world in full, vibrant color. That all those lonely moments were just building the foundation for a person who would never need to rely on someone else to feel whole. The vines growing through the room? That’s us now. It’s our resilience, our growth, our life gently wrapping around those old memories and saying, “I remember you. And you are safe with me now.” The light from the window is the hope we somehow managed to keep alive. This is for anyone who has ever had to parent themselves. To hug that inner child and finally say: “I see you. I remember you. And I promise… we turned out more than alright.” You’ll be alright, kid.
