@phoenixblazr: I know I should have stopped crying now but... I literally just asked him tk send me a sign if he was okay and this was in the mail.

grief has no time limit. anyone telling you "you should have been over it by now" is void of empathy

Take your time grief is also a fee. You will think that you’re OK and it’s been a long time and then all of a sudden you will miss your cat so much. I always try to think of it as a hello from them when this happens.

Grief has no time limit. I lost 2 of my boys within 48 hours of each other over a year ago. My heart is still broken and I still cry for them. Much love to you. 💕

You can cry over a pet loss whenever you need to, grief (even for pets) has no timeline.

Oh darlin', I feel you so much. I had the same thing happen the day I lost one of my three, and they all were scheduled for checkups the very next day. The pain will lessen, eventually. But he is loved, cared for and hunting mice over the rainbow bridge with Steve Irwin proudly exclaiming "crikey that's a big 'un you found! good job mate!" 💜💜

There is no finish line to grief. Someone once told me the longer it hurts just shows how much you loved the one lost. Grief is just love with no earthly place to go. All the love and vibes.

Grief is a rollercoaster. There will be times it doesn’t hurt - and times the grief consumes you. It’s normal to have these highs and lows - there is not a timeline for grief and when to “be better”. Take the time and space you need. 🧡

I lost my best boy last year to colic, I have his name tag on a chain and wear it whenever I miss, which is everyday. Time will lessen the pain of grief, but it will never fade, just like our memories of them.

There is no time limit on grief! Take however much time you need & cry as much as you want! ❤️Heck, I will still occasionally cry over my 2 dogs & they’ve been gone 3 years now. (It didn’t help that we had to say goodbye to both within 3 months of each other.)

it was 2 years after my beautiful Syrian Hamster "Sunset" died. she was my soul pet. I bonded with her in ways hamsters shouldn't bond. on her birthday randomly I got a happy birthday text from her old vet. random. the first year was forgotten but not the second. I broke down sobbing

I'm almost 4 weeks out from euthanizing my dog, and I burst into tears today because a neighbor asked my husband why she hadn't seen him for awhile. There's no time you have to be "done crying". Things will hit you, you'll cry, and it's okay.

Grief has no limit. I am almost 4 months in and I still cry at least 2 days a month, like full on bawling my eyes out.
