played as the hre conquered northern Africa all of Europe except for Russia and most of the Middle east but just when I thought I would have an epic battle with the Mongol empire it fractured into a bunch of smaller kingdoms and then the pope declared a holy war on them but since they were so far (the smaller version of what remained of the Mongol empire) we lost so I made my descendants life mission to conquer all the lands once held by the Mongol empire at its peak to ensure no other empire could dare challenge us or even come close (one civil war and its wraps for the entire empire)
