like ill research and buy something more expensive if it has reasonable return. I know people that will just throw away things and replace them with the exact same thing because they dont want to deal with their old items minor issues

Frugal is buying 32 rolls of BJs brand 2 ply quilted toilet paper that’s similar to Charmin cuz it’s on sale. Cheap is buying 32 rolls of Scott 1 ply toilet paper because it’s cheap but feels like sandpaper.

I considered buying as close to a “lifetime supply” of dental floss I just found because over time things just get more expensive and worse quality so might as well make the investment now (I can’t afford it though 😂)

I cant tell if im frugal or cheap or both. I'd get the big pack of toilet paper but also buy the boots for kids regardless if it's $25 because they probably be worn only once or twice anyways since they have so many

I always give my husband a hard time because I say he is cheap and I am frugal. He gets really mad when I wanna spend money on something that’s gonna last but he’ll buy 20 of something similar at a quarter of the price that he has to keep replacing.
