i honestly don't care. I give my tithe to the church because God has filled my life with so many blessings, more than money can buy. Either my business or work blooms or not, I will still give my tithe.

Very true but remember we tithe now as a way to help the church just as they did then. We are not forced to give 10% but I can tell from personal experience giving 10% *even though I’m not forced* my financial life has changed for the better. And let’s remember giving back to the church itself helps a lot

No Sir, Malachi 3 is talking about this generation, the generation after the appearance of John the Baptist and Jesus. That's how Malachi 3 starts! It clearly compares this generation with the forefathers, who were faithful in their tithing. Also don't forget that Malachi is a prophetic book, so most likely it's talking about the generation after the author.

tithing was not a legalistic expression. It was not a Mosaic law but a faith expression. the first man to tithe was Abraham. Jesus didn't rebuke tithing
