Psych major here, so relationship OCD is not a recognized diagnosis and there is no set diagnostic criteria to meet. A therapist would not have diagnosed him with this. This sounds like something he found on Reddit. This sounds more like possessive jealousy.

Who told her he had this? I'm betting it's him, since Relationship OCD is not in the DSM, is not an official diagnosis, and he wouldn't go to therapy to treat it so I doubt he went to find out about it.

I had a husband just like this! I later learned HE was cheating the whole relationship even before we were married. Cheaters are the most jealous.
