i had a preemie at 32 weeks he measured 27 weeks via emergency c section due to a clot in my placenta. a few days later in the NICU I had my first attack, 2 days prior to that I ended up rushed to the ER and put in the ICU for almost 5 weeks. I had multiple clots in my lungs I was so lucky. I'm so so sorry this happened to you.

My fiancé suffered an amniotic fluid embolism after she delivered and she passed away after 3 days. She suffered a cardiac event that led to brain death. It’s been like 10 months ago and I’m still in shock. But our son is healthy and he growing up so quick

I just had a baby 3 weeks ago and I was diagnosed with a PE 5 days postpartum. It is so painful and so hard to breathe. Unfortunately I lost my baby after birth. I’m so sorry for your loss!

so sad this happened to a young family. having a bloodclot in your deep veins in similar situations is a common thing and if you know the signs and notice them early it’s very well treatable. her death could’ve been prevented by simple precautions
