2020 Kia Sportage with 75,000 miles, bro just keep driving it. It has no mechanical issues and shouldn’t for 1-3 years. Put that $10,000 toward paying off this vehicle then work on your credit. Once you have a fully funded emergency fund and no outstanding bad debt, then think about a newer (not new) vehicle.

6k negative equity, has 10k down. so basically 4k down, paying his equity. 560 fico, descent enough with 4k down. He's better than I probably can get it done. although he ghosted you so he doesn't have the 10k. easy one to figure out

With a lease they will take his down payment to lower his payment now...then in 36 months when he turns it back in he has the shock of his next lease jumping way up if he doesn't have 6-10K down again.
