With Blue Dragon, I think its great commentry on inaction from "the good apples", say working in government, military or police. They can recognize the injustice, yet won't take the steps to correct it and benefit from the status quo.

Keep in mind too, that James Gunn wrote and worked on season 2 at the SAME TIME as he was doing Superman. And the planning and work for Superman was on an entirely different level of its own. I would give it some time… especially since each peacemaker episode is STUPIDLY SHORT at only 30min each. I bet you he’s going to show or give more clues as to why Earth X is a nightmare.
