I think an ultimate Saiyan would be a super Saiyan 4 as the ultimate alien process essentially forces the species to I dergo a simulation of a war if I'm not wrong so the DNA adapts so I think a super Saiyan 4 best describes what an ultimate Saiyan would look like

I think the major difference between the ultimatrix and the Omnitrix is that the ultimatrix is a modification of pre-existing technology which is the omnitrix It is much easier to modulate a technology than to create one from scratch

I still think that it would be cool if during the simulation, assuming the worst case scenario involves another species that's stored in the watch, if it creates a loop of evolution. Say humongousaur evolves to against the tyrannopedes, the tyrannopedes then evolve in kind, then humongousaur evolves, rinse and repeat for a million years

Pretty much the ultimate form for a saiyan is super Saiyan four because even when you’re unconscious, you don’t get knocked out of the form and I’m talking about gt ssj4

id also think an ultimate sayian would probably innately not have the tail or the tail has further adaptation to prevent its exploitation which is the standard for saiyans who dont train out of it

I would like to play Devil's Advocate on Ultimate Big Chill. Looking at its Homeworld, you could make the argument that a normal Necrofriggian would blend in. Going Ultimate, it lost that ability, but gained much, much colder ice, to the point of flash freezing anything. Using the words of Ultimate Big Chill "Fire so hot, it's cold"

Cannonbolt did get a trade off. normally he's got a leather hide, making him less durable, but bouncy, like a basket ball. Ulti Cannonbolt has a metal hide, with spikes, making him insanely durable, with offensive rolling capabilities, but he loses that massive bounce that he normally has.

so something that should be noted ki control in general is not a saiyan thing. its just an everyone thing. saiyans are a bit unique though in that they have an incredible abbility to see someone use ki abbilities once or twice and copy it (as seen with goku using the kamehameha from master roshi and vegeta learning how to sense ki after just watching earthlings). with that in mind your points are valid and I think the easiest way would be for a saiyan to develop a way to recover ki fast then they can expend it alowing then to maintain a constant out pouring of ki sheilds. at first I thought the answer might be found in divine ki but even goku has been caught off guard in the form. and well ss4 has the right idea reusing expended ki but conservation of energy means that they would eventually run out. my bet is that an ultimate saiyan would have at one point seen an abbility that allows then to continuously draw energy from their surroundings and use that to power their ki. so something like a mix between the infinate android energy a maxed out version of their abbility to learn about ki and ss4 would be about what the ultimate saiyan would look like in my mind because the only thing left to worry about would be the output of ki witch can be trained to ridiculous proportions with zenkai boost.

People really hear “Sayian” and immidiately think Goku and Vegeta. It’s a race and Goku and Vegeta are not representative of it. Theyre power comes from training not evolution. King Vegeta is the character you want to be comparing to.
