Thus. And also, I think a lot of people in the states have moved away from letting the main ingredient speak for itself. Everything needs to be seasoned, but not everything needs to be drenched in seasonings. We've blown out our own palettes.

tomatoes aren't even authentic Italian food. they've only had tomatoes for like, 300 years. which according to Europeans, isn't even considered historic when it relates to architecture.
