@coach_keely: Senior friendly, beginner friendly, at home friendly, or gym friendly!! Everyone can do some sort of kickback variation. Here I’m just doing standing bodyweight glute kickbacks, but you could also add a band around your thighs or ankles, or do these on a cable. Seniors get great balance work on their standing leg with these, so hold onto something if you need to but gently so you can practice your balance as well! Really squeeze your glutes at the top when you pause to connect with the muscle, and take your reps nice and slow. These can work your glutes and low back as well, so don’t worry if you feel it in your back too.
