Prophet Moses told the Jews to follow him to the promised land BUT they did not want to follow him to the promised land and instead told Prophet Moses to go to the promised land first because the promised land was already occupied by another race. This was after Prophet Moses (with God’s power) rescued the Jews from the tyrant Pharaoh. They doubted Prophet Moses and now they want to claim the promised land.
