i use to be a "perfectionist christian" as well and it made it so hard to go to God because it always felt like I needed to fix this,fix that before I can be confident in front of the lord but eventually I learnt that I didn't need to be perfect and just actually spend time with him,my relationship ever since has really really improved and I even managed to stop sin that I struggled with.Love love love Jesus 💕

Same. But one day something clicked and I actually completed an Esther fast. And I didn’t really complain. And I cried because it’s something that I just didn’t think I was able to do. Idk what’s next but I’m not even worried anymore ✨

I feel like this was my exact situation, also went on a fasting recently and I got led to Esther and in there God basically reminded me that even though I may feel distant and I may not see His works He’s always with me and arranging things in my favour. He reminded me that waiting seasons are for growing, and developing our relationship with Him so that we’re prepared for what He has ahead of us.
