i-dle Biography
i-dle is a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment in 2018. The group originally debuted with six members: Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, Soojin, Yuqi, and Shuhua. After Soojin’s departure in 2021, i-dle has continued as a five-member group.
The group debuted on May 2, 2018, with their first mini album I Am and the hit title track “Latata.” From the beginning, i-dle stood out for their strong stage presence, creative concepts, and self-produced music. Leader Jeon Soyeon is known for writing and producing many of the group’s songs, including hits like “Senorita,” “Lion,” “Oh my god,” “Tomboy,” “Nxde,” and “Queencard.”
