This!! I’m a later life driver and only just passed my test last year! My car is my sanctuary I find it relaxing ❤️can I ask your thoughts on seeking an ADHD diagnosis if I don’t want to go on medication but convinced I have it?

Zoning out and car is on “autopilot” (me on autopilot) 🤫🫣🫠sometimes driving helps clear my head… other times it’s exaughsting and I wish I could just teleport to my destinations.

So my drives are chaotic. I HAVE to be talking to someone because if I don't, I tend to disassociate and forget im driving lol. I can go a mile or two and snap back and be like "Oh shiiiiit" thankfully my brain is still realizing im driving and I can keep doing what I do. Music sometimes helps. But 9 times out of 10, I connect my phone to my car and call my grandma lol

I agree. I haven't done it in a while because my gas mileage sucks. I can't wait till I get my next vehicle with good gas mileage and I can justify just driving and driving and driving.
