And I bet it can trace back to how doctors are unwilling to prescribe… stronger meds… and recommend taking Tylenol instead. People in chronic pain are way past the point that a normal dose of Tylenol, ibuprofen, or naproxen helps

Worked in treatment centers for years. Not as many people have liver failure as you think from alcohol. 2 in 10 years that came in.

My mother use to take Tylenol PM every night (she had severe insomnia) it destroyed her stomach and who knows what else. She passed at 54. I know it wasn’t all Tylenol PM but back then 2001 nobody spoke about the severe side effects

It takes a while for alcohol to effect the liver (weeks of heavy drinking or years of drinking)…. 24-48 hours is all it takes for acetaminophen to damage the liver

Alcohol consumption is a much more common cause of liver failure than taking Tylenol 🙄🙄

if you read past your AI results, you'd also discover that there are only about 2000 incidences of acute liver failure annually... and that a dose of at least 10 gram/day is required to cause ALF, except for patients with a history of chronic alcohol abuse. either way, if we consider that roughly 1000 people per year are dying from generally intentional overdose of acetaminophen and ~50,000 people die annually from slips, trips, and falls.. shouldn't we be focusing on the real silent killer... walking?
