This is not great advice. Because feeling like “home” can be chaotic. Home could’ve been violent, unhealthy and toxic.

I agree but I would also caution the “do they feel like home?” portion only because some people grew up with an unsafe home (emotionally, physically etc) or home of chaos and sometimes that’s what has drawn them in without them realizing it. So if it feels like home, question it a little bit more for yourself and make sure that “home” feeling includes all the other elements Mel mentions like being able to exhale and feel loyalty etc 🫶🏼
