the videos of having to replace and clean those make me want to puke. The only reason I can see installing those urinals are they don't want to pay a plumber to run water lines. the cost of water can't be more than paying for all those cups and all the deodorizer juice.

The cup acts a siphon. In your demonstration since the top part was off it didn’t drain properly. when the top part is on it should form a seal once the water reaches the top and emptys the cup almost completely.

How is that better for the environment? You’re putting chemicals into it the cup to then throw it away to then goto a landfill for 100s of year where water gets flushed then cleaned at treatment plants and put back into the ecosystem.

waterless urinals REEK idc what you say, I've been a support worker for men so help them get into the mens bathroom and I know IMMEDIATELY when its waterless as it has an incredibly distinct rotting/putrid urine smell, we reverse course and find another toilet.
