(G)Rape and (S)exual (A)ssault are to me, justified reasons to have an (A)bortion. Now just being negligent and ish like that. I feel aren’t justified reasons for it. I know some may look at it differently but that’s just me. I know people who’ve been conceived under those circumstances. It’s a slipper slope for sure in today’s society but I’d be a hypocrite if I said I haven’t been in the abortion clinic more than once. We have to get back to Christian values to save this world

1️⃣ I’m not familiar with that “even Mary had a choice” argument. It seems a bit silly. I’ve occasionally come across that “recipe for abortion” argument, but I think that’s a silly one too. Numbers 5:15-31 is an instruction set for a ceremony that induces miscarriage in an unfaithful wife. It’s clearly meant as a penalty. I don’t see that one often though. The argument I’m more familiar with is based on Exodus 21:22-25, which prescribes a fine (as opposed to counting that as a life: “If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her […] he shall pay as the judges determine.” (KJV) This is the most solid evidence I see in the Bible for that stance.

John leaped for joy in Elizabeth’s womb when Mary walked over to her carrying Jesus. It’s sad that quite a few “christians” in western civilization are so willing to defend murdering unborn children.
