Taylor is my most listened to artist x 4 according to Stats.FM & I was in her top 1% listeners on Spotify for the last 5 years. That being said: It’s bad on multiple levels: stolen beats, juvenile lyrics to the point where I physically recoiled, unproduction in sound, overhype in promise. Her own verbal description of the album, the Apple description of the album, the imagery of the album, the album did not live up to. Add to that the billionaire telling women not to let others ruin your headspace while making MULTIPLE diss tracks, including one clearly racist towards Travis’ ex. It’s out of touch. It’s her cash grab for TikTok edits & radio music. I will forever call it her Marie Antionette album.

I’ve occasionally tried listening to her most listened to tracks on Spotify and I don’t get it. A couple of her bigger hits I understand, but 95% of her music isn’t listenable.

I just never could get into her music. I liked a few songs when she first came out. but shes way out of touch and Im very picky about lyrics with music.
