I had acanthamoeba and got a little bit of vision loss but the treatment stopped it advancing any further after a month. I am wondering if you know why it is still getting worse in your case? Also thank you for spreading awareness it’s such an aweful thing to get, the pain in was in was unimaginable.

Stay strong. Previous coworker of mine had this. He was taking the daily drops. Had to be in a darkened room. He was off work for a year. But he kept up with the treatment. It eventually cleared enough to have a cornea transplant. He went on to have 20/20 vision. There is hope for you. Keep on having that positive attitude. You’ll get through it. Wishing you the best!

HI HI HI HI HI OMG HI!!!! I’m Asa, and I’m 21. I started going blind at 19 as well. I am entirely blind in my left eye now. They deemed it being due to Uveitis- an unknown pressure due to an underlying autoimmune disease. Unfortunately, they never found out what mines was. I never met someone my age who has gone through this as well. Just know you’re not alone.
