I always identified with Josie and Lizzie. Whatever their flaws, I think we can all agree that at least 70% of them were Alaric's fault. I get Vampire Caroline couldn't stay in Mystic Falls cause she wasn't aging. But who leaves two teenagers in Alaric Saltzman's care? Does she not remember how he dealt with Elena and Jeremy? Especially when one (or arguably both) have a pretty severe mental illness, Josie was always going to be the glass child with Alaric. I'm not saying he should have lost custody, but he definitely should not have been their primary caregiver.

I know this isn’t about Josie but I will stand by the fact that Lizzie was the better sister and Josie constantly made ableism comments and didn’t try to understand Lizzie’s bipolar, Josie is the reason mostly everyone thought Lizzie was the bad twin
