I read that the dexcom g7 was having so many connection issues so I didn't want it...my endo changed my prescription either way, and omg, the amount of sensors that failed! I never had one dexcom g6 sensor fail

Wait until your next batch of G7 before deciding. For some reason, for a couple months they decided to make their own solution instead of using a 3rd party, and it wasnt as good. Now they are back to using the 3rd party, so maybe wait a bit

I tried the 7 for one session and hated it. Lost signal if I was 5’ away from my phone. I have since got the series 6 watch that is supposed to act as a receiver but haven’t tried it yet.
