Over rated combo. It’s really damaging and it never looks better than a flat iron or a Dyson after just a regular blowdry. Everyone’s hair is different though so maybe it’s a good combo for you.

I’m a hairstylist and the way you did the top section is so much easier. Hold it as you would a curling iron away from the face and twirl it out away from the face. If you can learn to switch hands between each side it helps too! It takes PRACTICE and you can always practice with the blowdryer off with the brush.

i promise once you start you’ll never go back. my hair has never looked and felt better after i blow dry ! it has taken me over a year to learn lol but i finally got it

Started my big girl blow dry journey recently too, I have that same brush and it’s so good! I like to pre-section my hair with each layer so that only the small section I’m drying isn’t clipped up and I feel like I have so much more control. Still learning my best products tho, which seems to be half the battle 🤷🏻♀

Smaller sections of hair and a smaller brush would work better! 🙏🏻From personal experience Shorter / finer hair does not grip well around a big brush
