It doesn’t run other places because we have the SunTran that does run in those places 😭😭 we have two different bus systems but this one is mainly for U of A students. Do some more research man

Tucson light rail has: 1. Increased traffic due to influence on traffic patterns. 2. Caused more pollution. 3. Had to be free since no one was riding it previously 4. Caused interior noise to many buildings adjacent. It’s the example of what NOT to do.

I rode this thing almost everyday when I was a U of A student, and it does an okay job of moving people between downtown and campus. unfortunately that's basically all it does. the headways also aren't the best, but I'm glad that the system at least exists.

Sun Link is good, but you hit the nail on the head. Unfortunately, the Tucson bus system isn’t great. Tucson needs good transit, but it’s stuck in the perpetual study vortex. There are fun facts about Tucson including the fact that they’re just building out a transit plan from 1970’s or 80’s meaning massive stroads and sprawl.
