as an FAA, you should call out sick and have some of your colleagues to call out sick, thereby forcing mass delays and private jets to get delayed; thereby delaying wall street… that will get the gov reopened

As a GA pilot, we have a responsibility to not fly right now. The controllers are working without pay and with higher workload. We have a duty to limit activities until this goes back to normal. It’s about safety, but also solidarity.

Thank you for the information. Flying from Tampa to Dallas to San Diego on 10/16 with only a 45 min layover in Dallas. I’m guessing I should be worried? lol. Also.. it’s still *safe* to be flying right now, right? Like we’re not gonna crash into another plane in the sky are we? LOL (biggest fear) also thanks for all you do to keep us safe!
