I’m not a swifty and I haven’t listened to this album yet. I did like tortured poets though. It’s odd how some are so worked up about it. Feel like everyone expects too much from her. It sounds like you wanted her to end bullying in school. Maybe she can, but your expectations are so high. What if she fails. What if she’s no better than any one of else?

I do get it but I think the young girls don’t like Taylor Swift. And I’m talking Gen Aplha. lol They are on to the next. And they probably haven’t learned so this will repeat. Teach kids to be kind but also resilient.

It’s funny cuz I see the opposite all over the place amongst people who don’t like her. You’ll never hear me talking shit about Taylor herself or her music because she means so much to little girls and girls of all ages, and in a world rampant with misogyny especially the Internet, I worry about what impressionable young girls will internalize.
