From our observations, he seems to be on the timid side, preferring to keep to himself and sniff around the play yard. While Tobi may not actively seek out interaction, he appears to tolerate gentle greetings from other dogs. With some patience and understanding, Tobi could blossom into a wonderful companion. Come meet Tobi today! Volunteer observation: 09/06/25 Tobi is a handsome guy! He very gently approached his snack and seemed okay with me being near him. 09/16/25 Timid; Tobi was quiet in his kennel when I stopped to say hi. I had to close the divider in order to get the leash on him. He was hesitant to leave and it took us a little while to get outside to the play yard. Outside in the play yard his tail was mainly tucked, although I could tell he was more comfortable towards the end than at the beginning. He spent most of his time with his nose sniffing the ground. I gently touched him and he moved away. He had a timid wary demeanor and may need some more interaction to feel safe and comfortable. 09/21/25 Avoidant/Fearful; Disinterested in Treats; Avoiding Eye Contant; Disinterested in Attention; Tobi was very timid and didn’t want to be leashed. 09/25/25 Avoidant/Fearful There were no treats available. He would not interact; Avoiding Eye Contant; Disinterested in Pets/Cuddles;Disinterested in Attention; Tobi retreated to the back of the kennel and would not come to me. He was disinterested in the ball I brought. Playgroup observation: 09/24/25 Tolerant, didn't seek out interaction from other dogs at this time but would allow greetings from those that approached. Kept to self and did well around other gentle dogs. PG1 - SOCIAL / DG - DAINTY & GENTLE Shelter observation: 09/06/25 lays on cot, quiet. 09/27/25 when approaching timid; shy; loves being outside and observant of surroundings.
