Saudi Arabia doesn't have democracy but it a 1st world nation. Same applies to UAE Singapore split from Malaysia in 1965, and was ruled by Lee Kwan for 35 years and transformed them from a total 3rd world country. to a first world nation. No need for democracy to develop. Greece is the birth place of Democracy and Western philosophy, but even Greece's own son amd the greatest philosopher, Socrates, was against Democracy; He believed that a great many people are not rational enough to to be allowed to vote thus he concluded that a certain class of people should be the ones to participate in matters of governance, and even added 2 more reasons. today, as soon as country discovers Oil or huge mineral reserves, its when The US comes to them and tells them that they need Democracy, yet today, those self-appointed Prefects of Democracy are ruled by Trump who is nothing but a dictator! 😂👌
