Proteins are not all equal. They have different amino acid profile and different bioavailability. Similarly focusing on calories is meaningless. Foods have different nutrients density in terms of fibre and other essential nutrients. To evaluate food you need a much fuller and nuanced picture.

Next time you do this comparison, at the end, please pull together the three or four plates that are high in protein and low in calories and then push together the other plates that are high in protein, but loaded with calories.
