💔This poor girl is coughing & is most likely going to be out of time tomorrow morning 8/19.💔 This 2 year old beauty was found as a stray on Bourland in Greenville & not reclaimed. She caught a treatable, but contagious upper respiratory infection in there & the shelter has no way of treating it.. She needs out before she ends up unalived for it as soon as 8/19 morning!! The shelter is constantly filling up & doesn’t give warnings or deadlines. She is 1 of longest residents. ⚠️DISCLAIMER: I AM A VOLUNTEER. PLEASE DO NOT HARASS OR THREATEN SHELTER AS THEY AREN’T TO BLAME. YOU WILL ONLY MAKE IT HARDER TO HELP THE DOGS!⚠️ 🙏🏼Need adopter to go in person or local foster & reputable rescue in DFW / East TX! Shelter doesn’t have a foster program. Supplies provided & expenses are covered by rescues typically. Rescues need funds (pledges) & local fosters to save. Kennel 38, No Name, ID 251194 Unaltered female, American Pit Bull Terrier mix 2 years old (guess), HW status unknown Stray 7/30/25, available 8/2/25 If you want to adopt out of state (PNW/MW/NE —will need rescue & local temp foster for 3-4 weeks for that to happen) or if you can foster for a rescue in DFW until adoption, please message @TheDogsNeedOurHelp & I’ll connect you with a rescue. Adoption costs more than shelter fee if out of state & can’t go in person. ONLY if able to adopt in person or tag by rescue (approved to tag), contact shelter directly at: Greenville Animal Control Shelter 5800 Joe Ramsey Blvd Greenville, TX 903-457-2990 (phone is down rn) Open: Mon-Sun 9am-5pm animalcontrol@ci.greenville.tx.us Shelter adoption fee is $95, which includes mandatory spay, rabies vax, & microchip. Also, a $20 non-refundable S/N deposit is required. Dogs get 1 round of bordetella & DAPPv upon intake. Dogs are not seen by a vet as shelter does not have one.
