I remember when healthcare was affordable, low deductibles, low or no co pay, low cost prescriptions...ah, looking at the years PRIOR to the ACA.

except that this did not work prior to aca. more interestingly, we've been waiting for trump's tax plan for ten years. the republicans refused to do anything so they haven't even suggested an alternative.

Agree, although they need to get rid of the credible coverage and list of essential benefits requirement— although with no personal penalty now it should be fine. One of the issues with the ACA you had to buy more coverage than you actually needed. 60-year-olds are paying for maternity coverage..

My insurance costs went up every year prior to the ACA and the coverage got worse, so I don't know why you think getting rid of it will make insurance cheaper or better.

Insurance companies always had control. There was not competition prior to the ACA , the ACA slowed the rate of healthcare costs
