as an adult who grew up with these kids. this was the most cathartic anime ending. did I bawl yes, did I feel complete after...enough to know we were grown ups now. the og digimon will always be my first anime loves and having this movie....killed and made me happy...icing on the cake would of been Matt's og voice actor...but I digress

Honestly, Digimon being able to speak adds a lot of layers and emotion that pokemon doesn’t always have. Pikachu spoke once(i think) when Ash died and it was the saddest thing ever
