My ped has us introduce all nut allergies before appointments. So we introduced peanuts at the 6 month appointment 5 minutes before in the parking lot.

my son was 6 months when we went to ER for his reaction. he's almost 8 now and thankfully we've never had to use his epipens

😅 We gave our son soy bean milk bc he was allergic to dairy… turns out he was allergic to dairy, soy bean and peanuts. I was devastated when I found out half his rashes were from soy bean and we didn’t know for 6 MONTHS while giving him soy bean milk. Please do not feel bad.

Mine also is allergic to peanuts😭 severe ara 2 & 6 positive with eczema and reactive air way. I doubt he'll grow out of it. Luckily his first reaction was only repeated vomitung and no air way involvment.

My son has a peanut allergy too. It’s difficult at first but you get VERY good at reading labels. I’m anaphylactic to tree nuts, so I’m used to it. But take it one day at a time. It is utterly terrifying at first, I promise it gets more manageable

My daughter had a peanut allergy at 8 months old. We started a desensitization program and she’s now 5 and no longer allergic.

Look into the food allergy institute in long beach California. It’s an amazing program that will help his allergy.

Momma, don’t ever second guess yourself, even if you think you’re crazy. I did this with my first born. We literally sat outside the hospital parking lot and had her try a bunch of allergens. 🥺🥺 You’re doing great!!

Took my son to the neurologist as a baby bc he rocked his head side to side to go to sleep. Turns out that’s just how he soothes himself. He’s 5 now and still does it but I do not regret making that appt.
