I believe that leaders should be on the frontlines willing to stand between the community and the threats that face them. That’s why I was at the ICE detention center in Broadview this month. You can ask to speak with an attorney. You do not need to open the door unless ICE has a warrant signed by a judge. You should never sign anything you don’t fully understand.
