My fav is when my pharmacist told someone no alcohol with their metronidazole the patients daughter said “they just say that, it’s not true” and I said “it’s entirely true, the pharmacist doesn’t say this for nothing”

Wow. I don't drink (overly childlike USA missionary here) and I use several controlled substances for chronic intractable pain (since 1998!) and I'm amazed at how many who have my similar condition DO drink. I would be afraid to!

Luckily when I tell teen parents this, I haven’t gotten any backlash. I’d rather be safe than sorry in that instance because we know some teens do.
